 Quantas Q2-1064

The Quantas Q2 models set a new standard in Q-switched lasers.  Q-switched lasers are designed for a wide range of applications that require high peak power pulses. They are diode pumped and fully air-cooled.  A robust, reliable design is what makes this series the ideal tool for applications such as Light Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS), LCD repair, laser ablation, remote sensing and many others. There is a broad selection of models available including configurations at 1064nm with 70 mJ @ 50 Hz or 40 mJ @ 100 Hz, and the harmonics thereof.. Less than 10 ns pulse duration allows efficient fundamental wavelength conversion to higher harmonics with the shortest wavelength available of 213 nm.  Wavelength extensions into the infrared by use of OPO technology  are available upon request.

TEC based cooling eliminates the risks associated with water cooling (like leaks, circuit shortening etc.) as well as reducing running cost, as there is no maintenance required.

If required, laser pulsing can be externally triggered from a delay generator. The laser is controlled via a built-in Ethernet port through a web-server with an option to add a Wi-Fi adapter.  This feature  allows the users to monitor and control the laser remotely.
